Who We Are
We are probably not your ordinary farmers. Our practices are what some call "beyond organic" but we have been known to attack the serious poison ivy problem with weed killers.
Mary is known by friends and family as a ferocious canner and baker. Someday soon we hope to offer her goods for sale.
We moved to the Shenandoah Valley in 2006 and that year began our adventure in farming. We are located about an hour outside of Washington, DC in Middletown, Virginia.
From 2008 to 2013 we raised chicken, pork, eggs, and turkey for farmers markets in the region. In the last (almost) 10 years we have scaled down to produce food for ourselves and local friends. Most recently we have raised a hog or two, beef cow, goat. and we always have eggs.
