My Crazy Ideas
On the farm we have always chosen to create our own "things" rather than buy it outright. We have made many of the items we needed from a chicken plucker to animal feeders to animal shelters to multiple generations of signage and so on and so forth.
For me (Mary) I can honestly say it goes back to my growing up with a can-do mom. You name it: wallpapering, cabinet making, sewing, baking, canning, she wasn't afraid to give it a try. Try she did and she dressed up a Victorian home in the 70's. It's no wonder that I had little fear when the idea of running a farm came up. I was ready for the challenge.
I've been thinking about all the things I've done over the years and I hope to share all kinds of things here. It won't just be farm related but it could be having fun with kids or what we are doing now that we are nearly empty nesters.
Stop back now and again to see what you can find!
Thanks for reading and here's to sharing ideas....finally!
