Farm Stand is open! |
Our farm stand opened in April and we are happy with the response from neighbors and friends! We went through the usual spring offerings of rhubarb, strawberries, and flowers and have moved on to zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, squash, and blackberries.
Mary bakes every Saturday morning too so there is fresh bread, scones, and sometimes cookies. |
We are probably not your ordinary farmers. Our practices are what some call "beyond organic" but we have been known to attack the serious poison ivy problem with weed killers.
Mary has embraced her inner artist and creates hand painted cards, key fobs, sewn bags, and more! She will also be offering up fresh jam and dried herbs.

Our History |
We moved to the Shenandoah Valley in 2006 and that year began our adventure in farming. We are located about an hour outside of Washington, DC in Middletown, Virginia.
From 2008 to 2013 we raised chicken, pork, eggs, and turkey for farmers markets in the region. In the last (almost) 10 years we have scaled down to produce food for ourselves and local friends. Most recently we have raised a hog or two, beef cow, goat. and we always have eggs. |
